When three resistors R1, R2 and R3 (¥Ø) are connected parallel and total current flowing though R1, R2 and R3 is I (A) as shown in figure, the current I1 (A) flowing through R1 is calculated as below.

I = I1 + I2 + I3

I1*R1 = I2*R2 = I3*R3

I1*R1/R2 = I2

I1*R1/R3 = I3

I = I1 + I1*R1/R2 + I1*R1/R3

I1*(1 + R1/R2 + R1/R3) = I

I1*(R2*R3 + R1*R3 + R1*R2)/(R2*R3) = I

I1 = I*(R2*R3)/(R1*R2 + R2*R3 + R1*R3)

using same method

I2 = I*(R1*R3)/(R1*R2 + R2*R3 + R1*R3)

I3 = I*(R1*R2)/(R1*R2 + R2*R3 + R1*R3)
