Current divider rule, parallel two resistors

When two resistors R1 and R2 (¥Ø) are connected parallel and total current flowing though R1 and R2 is I (A) as shown in figure, the current I1 (A) flowing through R1 is calculated as below.

I = I1 + I2

I1*R1 = I2*R2

I1*R1 = (I - I1)*R2

I1 = I*R2/(R1+R2)
