Velocity of a rotating object hanging from a string (rope) connected to a rod

As shown in the figure, when an object with mass m (kg) is rotating the rod, the string length is L (m) and the angle between the rod and the string is ¥è (deg).

The centrifugal force F acting on an object rotating at velocity V is:

F =  m*V^2/R = mgtan¥è

V = (R*g*tan¥è)^(1/2)

The rotating radius R is

R = L*sin¥è

Thus,

V = (L*sin¥è*g*tan¥è)^(1/2)
