2 moles carbon molecules react with 1 mole of oxygen molecule to make 2 moles of carbon monoxide molecules.

2C + O2 ¡æ 2CO

When the mass and atomic weight of the carbon used in the reaction are MC and WC respectively and the molecular weight of the oxygen is WO2, the mass of generated carbon monoxide, MCM, can be calculated as follows.

MCM = MC/WC*(WC+(1/2)*WO2)

*** Âü°í¹®Çå[References] ***

MCM = MC/WC*(WC+(1/2)*WO2)
