Mass of solute in saturated solution (by solubility of solute)

With the mass of solution M (g) and the solubility of solute S (g),
mass of the solute Ms (g) is calculated as below:

Solubility is defined as the mass of solute which dissolves in saturated state in solvent of mass 100g. Thus the following relationship establishes.

100 : S = M-Ms : Ms

S(M-Ms) = 100Ms

S*M - S*Ms = 100Ms

Ms = S*M/(100+S)
